ABOUT US
In 1993 RealHunters Journal™ began as an eight page tabloid newspaper listing hunting and outdoor gear to buy, sell or trade. As a filler, hunters from around the local area submitted their hunting stories and photos. Local turned into regional, regional turned into national and for the last three years RealHunters Journal™ has become one of the most recognized titles in the hunting industry. Ninety percent (90%) of the Journal is written by hunters from all over the nation and now even worldwide, hence the name RealHunters Journal™. Professional outdoor writers contribute the remainder for a good balance of how to, where to and when to type topics. Hunting stories from our readers over the years have been a significant part of creating an online magazine that is one of the most unique today.

A NOTE FROM BECKY LOU:
Whattabout Me...A mother of 2, Grandmother of 1, a little late in life I am off on an adventure that I hope never ends!! In 2000 my life took a major turn from Indoors to "Extreme Outdoors". Instead of shopping & TV, I am now outside Shooting guns, hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, tromping in the woods, basically just being Outdoors has become my passion!! Stepping Outside has made a huge difference in my health, my mind, and my Happiness! Starting this journey a little late in life, I'm excited about all the possibilities, and want to experience it all NOW!! I have got to move fast.. I am estimating that I only have 50 Good years left!! One very good friend states "With Becky there is no lack of Enthusiasm". I have been bursting at the seams to share all the stories with everyone, especially women, and get them excited about the adventure I have been having, soooo I started a little "Wisp of a Website" to share my stories, and lots of pictures, www.beckylououtdoors.com. I have just finished fliming an Outdoor Reality Television Series - "Ammo & Attitude" that will air on Versus Network, beginning August 1, 2010, details on my website. I am happy to join the RealHunters Journal team as field editor, hoping to contribute with my adventures and make a difference in others lives, and gettum Outdoors!
