Currently, hunters pour rice bran onto the ground. This does work, but it is not truly effective for several reasons.
For every hunt, rice bran must be hand dispersed by the hunter.
Because the rice bran has to be hand dispersed for every hunt, the hunter's scent is left all over the woods, making the hunting experience less than optimal.
It is difficult to know how much rice bran to disperse. Leaving too much out at one time could mold, resulting in wasted rice bran because the deer deem it inedible.
Leaving the rice bran on the ground leaves it unprotected from the weather.
